High-water hydrogel material

The HyperGel material contains 78% water. Its water-attracting composition and Surface Active Technology help the lens retain moisture during wear. The material is nesofilcon A hydrogel, and the moisture-retaining design supports a wettable surface through the wearing day.

Oxygen transmissibility is 42 Dk/t at -3.00D. This is the published measurement for the reference power and describes oxygen passing through the lens. The high water content and moisture-retaining surface are separate material features: together they explain the lens's emphasis on hydration in a daily disposable format.

Toric stability and optical clarity

The evolved peri-ballast design works with natural blinking patterns to support stable positioning. A tapered edge helps with insertion and limits interaction with the eyelids. The orientation mark at the six-o'clock position and the cylinder-axis indicator provide visible references for lens orientation.

High-definition optics include spherical aberration control, designed to help reduce halos and glare, including in lower-light settings. The lens combines this optical feature with astigmatism correction. Cylinder describes the amount of astigmatism correction, while axis specifies the direction in which that correction is positioned.
